Ps4 pause download keep progress

Admittedly I'm sort of considering it. Seeing it in person sparked some interest.I guess for me as an existing Switch owner, the appeal would be a less expensive Switch I could bring with me in public, less flashy and easier to carry around…

PS4 game updates keep resetting and losing their progress how do I fix this? Everytime I download a game update for my PS4 it'll download just fine until I pause the download and cut the system off or pause the download in general it'll reset the entire download and I have to start all over and it's pretty annoying, how do I fix this or is it
